Even when you don't feel like you are, and especially then.
You do not have to earn your place here, nor do you have to prove your worthiness. You are worthy because you exist.
You are here to be held, to be seen, and to simply exist as a natural expression of the whole.
The Church of the Holy is an interfaith church with roots in Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, Taoism, Wicca, Shamanism, amongst others. It is not about right and wrong, but the throughline between beliefs both ancient and new. Once stripped of empirical translations, the messages between belief systems reveal that they all look at different pieces of the whole, with many overlapping concepts and values.
We believe consciousness is the fundamental pattern, what we recognize as The Great Mother. She is the original force: the weaver of galaxies, the pulse beneath every heartbeat, the connection between all things.
We seek understanding through both poetic truth and careful observation, allowing mythology, philosophy, science, and lived experience to illuminate one another rather than compete.
Throughout history, places of worship often served as the heart of a community, both spiritually and practically. They celebrated births, comforted the grieving, fed the hungry, cared for the lonely, and reminded people that they belonged.
We believe a church can once again become a place where people are genuinely cared for without dogma. We are reclaiming what it means to Love.
We gather to witness one another through life’s greatest joys and deepest sorrows. We believe Love is not merely a feeling but a practice expressed through presence, hospitality, curiosity, and care.
This is why we are here: to preserve and protect what is sacred.
You don’t have to arrive with certainty, agree with every idea, or know exactly what you believe.
You only need curiosity.
Membership in The Church of the Holy begins with a desire to explore yourself and become holy: to be wholly you, stripped of everything that doesn't serve your wellbeing. In this church, you regain control to generate your own meaning. You decide what is right for you, where guidance is offered to assist you becoming more you. Your truth is your freedom. And we would never take away your freedom to be you.
Those who join the Church receive the title Prospector: an Initiate who willingly digs beneath the surface in search of the gold already within, to remember who they have always been.
