You are not separate from the universe.
You are the universe awakening to itself through breath, thought, relationship, and love.
You are here to be held, to be seen, and to simply exist as a natural expression of the whole.

Our Beliefs

To honor this awakening, The Church of the Holy operates as an Independent Matristic Order practicing Panentheism—the understanding that the Divine is inside everything in the universe and extends beyond space and time.

We believe consciousness is fundamental rather than emergent, what we recognize as The Great Mother. She is the original force—the weaver of galaxies, the pulse beneath every heartbeat, the pattern that connects all things.

We seek understanding through both poetic truth and careful observation, allowing mythology, philosophy, science, and lived experience to illuminate one another rather than compete.

Why We Gather

Throughout history, places of worship often served as the heart of a community—not only spiritually, but practically. They celebrated births, comforted the grieving, fed the hungry, cared for the lonely, and reminded people that they belonged.

We believe a church can once again become a place where people are genuinely cared for without dogma. We are reclaiming what it means to Love.

We gather to witness one another through life’s greatest joys and deepest sorrows. We believe Love is not merely a feeling but a practice—expressed through presence, hospitality, curiosity, and care.

This is why we are here: to preserve and protect what is sacred.

Membership in The Church of the Holy begins with a desire to explore yourself, your relationships, and your place within the living universe.

Those who join the Church receive the title Prospector—an Initiate who willingly digs beneath the surface in search of the gold already within, to remember who they have always been.
